A GIM mechanism from extra dimensions [PDF]
We explore how to protect extra dimensional models from large flavor changing neutral currents by using bulk and brane flavor symmetries. We show that a GIM mechanism can be built in to warped space models such as Randall-Sundrum or composite Higgs models if flavor mixing is introduced via UV brane kinetic mixings for right handed quarks.

Investigation of GIM-TEC disturbances before M ≥ 6.0 inland earthquakes during 2003–2017
With the rapid development of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and its wide applications to atmospheric science research, the global ionosphere map (GIM) total electron content (TEC) data are extensively used as a potential tool to detect ...

Background Obstetric Medicine is an area of expertise within General Internal Medicine (GIM) in Canada. Essential content for clinical rotations for GIM residents was identified by subject-matter experts (N=204 items). However, this work did not address the perspective of curriculum stakeholders. Methods Members of the Canadian GIM Specialty Committee (

Without cytomegalovirus infection, no lung cancer [PDF]
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a ubiquitous herpesvirus with recognized roles in immunomodulation and oncogenesis in specific contexts. Recent evidence suggests a potential association between CMV infection and lung cancer, though existing data are limited and
