Abstract Background Drug‐influenced gingival enlargement (DIGE) is a recognized adverse effect of certain medications, particularly immunosuppressants like cyclosporin and tacrolimus. However, there have been no documented cases of DIGE associated with voclosporin, a newer calcineurin inhibitor used primarily to treat lupus nephritis.

Localized Gingival Enlargement

Localized gingival enlargement is a common finding and tends to be reactive hyperplasia. Gingival reactive lesions are usually asymptomatic and respond to conservative treatment. However, a small entity of localized gingival enlargement is distinct from non-neoplastic growth, including developmental and neoplastic lesions.
