Abcc1 deficiency protects from corticosterone but not cortisol‐induced adiposity and insulin resistance in a sex‐specific manner

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend A mouse model of exogenous glucocorticoid (GC) treatment was used to determine (1) if corticosterone induced the same metabolic dysregulation as cortisol, and (2) whether these differences were mediated by the corticosterone‐specific transmembrane exporter Abcc1.

Relational Cartographies of Mobility: Arts‐Based Approaches to Territorial Belonging in Internal and International Migration

open access: yesGlobal Networks, Volume 26, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT This article develops a relational approach to human mobility by integrating internal and international migration into a single analytical framework. Addressing the persistent fragmentation in migration studies, it explores how territorial belonging is constructed through narrative, visual and material practices in different contexts of ...

Barbituric Acids as Nucleophiles in Enantioselective Mannich Reactions: Organocatalytic Access to Quaternary Aminopyrazolone–Barbiturate Adducts

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 15, 1 August 2026.
An enantioselective Mannich reaction using barbituric acids as nucleophiles provides access to chiral heterocycles bearing quaternary stereocenters. The transformation is catalyzed by a bifunctional thiourea with high selectivity. An immobilized catalyst enables recycling and application under continuous‐flow conditions, offering an efficient and ...

Preliminary Analysis of CpG, CHG and CHH Methylation in the Mitochondrial Control Region of Dogs With Malignant Mammary Gland Tumours

open access: yesAnimal Genetics, Volume 57, Issue 4, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Canine mammary tumours (CMTs) are one of the most frequently observed malignancies in female dogs. Many studies have investigated epigenetic changes in CMT at the nuclear level, yet the role of mtDNA methylation, particularly in the D‐loop region, remains largely unexplored.

Current state of neonatal intestinal rehabilitation care in North America: A descriptive survey‐based study

open access: yesNutrition in Clinical Practice, Volume 41, Issue 4, Page 1180-1190, August 2026.
Abstract Background Multidisciplinary care under intestinal rehabilitation programs (IRPs) improves survival in pediatric intestinal failure (IF). Professional societies recommend the management of pediatric patients with IF by an IRP. Whether these recommendations are followed in cases of neonatal IF is currently unclear.

High‐Entropy Materials for Durable Oxygen Evolution in Acidic Water Electrolysis

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 13, 14 July 2026.
High‐entropy materials offer a paradigm shift in durable proton exchange membrane water electrolysis anodes. This review presents advanced material designs for acidic oxygen evolution reaction, categorizing them into three progressive steps—Ir‐lean, Ru‐based, and nonprecious breakthroughs—that overcome the longstanding activity‐stability trade‐off ...

Present status and future prospects of Gir cow

open access: yesIndian Journal of Animal Sciences, 2016
Gir cattle in Saurashtra provide milk, manure and draught power. Animal genetic resources of native breeds are largely underutilized in India and indiscriminate crossbreeding has degraded large numbers of local breeds.

Harnessing Collective Electrophilic Reactivity on Gold Nanoparticles Toward Versatile Target Identification

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 7, July 2026.
A data‐driven approach is reported for the design of a heteromultivalent gold nanoparticle affinity labeling probe. By treating a library of electrophiles as a multisensor array, LDA‐guided optimization identified a minimal subset of five labels spanning distinct reaction mechanisms.
