Artemisia annua
AbstractTrichomes are known to be important biofactories that contribute to the production of secondary metabolites, such as terpenoids. C2H2‐zinc finger proteins (C2H2‐ZFPs) are vital transcription factors of plants' trichome development. However, little is known about the function of Artemisia annua C2H2‐ZFPs in trichome development.

Chemotaxonomy based on metabolites from glandular trichomes
2000Abstract Plant metabolites associated with trichomes were up to now consulted little for the investigation of taxonomic relationships. This is unexpected given the fact that plant trichomes provide a unique means of making biomolecules of specific pathways accessible at the plant surface in a concentrated form. In cases where compounds from glandular

Glandular trichomes and secreted material in Salvia wagneriana Polak.
2004Salvia wagneriana is a shrub of the subgenus Calosphace, growing in Central America, particularly in Mexico and Costa Rica, frequently cultivated in the gardens of the warm-temperate regions for his beautiful, red inflorescences. The subject of this work is a study of the glandular trichomes present on the plant and of their type of secretion.
