The Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry, Japan, 1958 今日,pHの測定には,ほとんどガラス電極が使用されている現状であり,また,このガラス電極の進歩によって,更に,pH自動制御の可能性が生まれてきた。本研究ではガラス電極用ガラスの性能改良化を目的として,リチウム・ガラス(Li2O含量を26～28mol%に固定)の組成を系統的に変化させ,各ガラス成分のガラス電極特性に及ぼす影響を検討してみた。その結果,ZrO2,CeO2,Al2O3,V2O5,B2O3等の成分で,BaOを置換していくと,いずれもアルカリ誤差の大きくなることがわかった。また,アルカリ誤差の小さいガラスの組成は,SiO259～64mo1%,Li2O26～28mol%,La2O3+ BaO10～13mo1%であった。
