Reduction of Carbon Dioxide on Modified Glassy Carbon Electrodes
Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1999Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere gives an important contribution to environmental pollution due to the progressive increase of its production everywhere from many sources. It is believed now that the capacity of the biosphere, due to absorption and transformation of CO{sub 2}, has been considerably exceeded and many attempts to overcome this problem by

Voltammetric determination of pentachlorophenol at a glassy carbon electrode
The Analyst, 1988An electroanalytical study of the pentachlorophenol oxidation process at a glassy carbon electrode in aqueous solution using different voltammetric techniques has been carried out. The results obtained by differential-pulse voltammetry allowed a method to be developed for the determination of pentachlorophenol in the ranges 1.0 × 10–5–10.0 × 10–5 and 2.

Electroanalytical study of nifedipine using activated glassy carbon electrode
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1998The electrochemical properties of nifedipine have been investigated in aqueous solution by linear sweep and cyclic voltammetry. The method is based both on the reduction and on the oxidation of the drug at a glassy carbon electrode activated by applying a new pre-treatment.

Anodic behavior of clioquinol at a glassy carbon electrode
Bioelectrochemistry, 2011Clioquinol is an antifungal, antiprotozoal and an Alzheimer's disease drug with cytotoxic activity toward human cancer cells. The electrochemical behavior of clioquinol and its oxidation product was studied using cyclic, differential pulse and square-wave voltammetry over a wide pH range on a glassy carbon electrode.

Electroanalysis of trimethoprim on metalloporphyrin incorporated glassy carbon electrode
Drug Testing and Analysis, 2010AbstractTrimethoprim (TMP) is a bacteriostatic antibiotic mainly used in the prophylaxis and treatment of urinary tract infections. It belongs to the class of chemotherapeutic agents known as dihydrofolate reductase inhibitors. Its use is associated with idiosyncratic reactions, including liver toxicity and agranulocytosis.
