NATURE EMULATING GLAZES IN CERAMICS: THE HISTORY OF CRATER GLAZES, DEVELOPING AND COLORING

open access: yesTurkish Online Journal of Design Art and Communication
NATURE EMULATING GLAZES IN CERAMICS: THE HISTORY OF CRATER GLAZES, DEVELOPING AND COLORING Abstract Glazes applied to the surfaces of ceramic bodies sometimes provide functional benefits and sometimes make aesthetic contributions. Especially the colour and texture diversity of the glazes used in art ceramics makes ceramic forms aesthetically richer

Ultra‐High‐Throughput Discovery of Multifunctional Polyphenolic Coatings on Droplet Microarrays

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An ultra‐high‐throughput (UHT) combinatorial strategy enables the miniaturized synthesis and screening of ≈30 000 polyamine‐polyphenolic (PaPp) coatings using droplet microarrays (DMA). This approach reveals hundreds of previously unknown fluorescent, redox‐active, and antibacterial materials, including multifunctional, cell‐compatible surfaces ...
