3/2-type criteria for global attractivity of Lotka–Volterra competition system without instantaneous negative feedbacks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
This paper deals with a two-species Lotka–Volterra competition model with discrete delays but without instantaneous negative feedbacks. Motivated by Wright's 32 global attractivity result for the delayed scalar logistic equation, we establish some new 32-

A Global Attractor in Some Discrete Contest Competition Models with Delay under the Effect of Periodic Stocking

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We consider discrete models of the form xn+1=xnf(xn−1)+hn, where hn is a nonnegative p-periodic sequence representing stocking in the population, and investigate their dynamics. Under certain conditions on the recruitment function f(x), we give a compact

Global attractivity for discrete models of nonautonomous logistic equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Consider the following discrete model of a nonautonomous logistic equation: {N(n+1)=N(n)exp{c(n)−∑j=0mbj(n)N(n−j)},n≥0,N(0)=N0>0andN(−j)=N−j≥0,1≤j≤m, where c(n) and bj(n),0≤j≤m,n≥0 are bounded and c(n)>0,b0(n)>0,bj(n)≥0,1≤j≤m,n≥0.

Stability of Certain Non-Autonomous Cooperative Systems of Difference Equations with the Application to Evolutionary Dynamics

open access: yesAxioms
This paper investigates the dynamics of non-autonomous cooperative systems of difference equations with asymptotically constant coefficients. We are mainly interested in global attractivity results for such systems and the application of such results to ...

BMT4me En Español: Multisite Feasibility and Usability Testing of a Spanish‐Language mHealth Adherence Support App for Spanish‐Speaking Caregivers of Children After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cancer Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Medication nonadherence during the first 100 days after pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and during oncology treatment increases risk for complications. BMT4me is a caregiver‐facing mobile health (mHealth) application providing medication reminders, symptom tracking, and note‐taking features to support ...

Pseudo Almost Periodic Sequence Solutions of Discrete Time Cellular Neural Networks

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2009
In this paper we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a k-pseudo almost periodic sequence solutions of a discrete time neural network. We give several sufficient conditions for the exponential and global attractivity of the solution.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
