Global existence of periodic solutions in a simplified four-neuron BAM neural network model with multiple delays

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2006
We consider a simplified bidirectional associated memory (BAM) neural network model with four neurons and multiple time delays. The global existence of periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations is investigated by applying the global Hopf ...

Global stability and bifurcation analysis of a delayed predator-prey system with prey immigration

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2016
A delayed predator-prey system with a constant rate immigration is considered. Local and global stability of the equilibria are studied, a fixed point bifurcation appears near the boundary equilibrium and Hopf bifurcation occurs near the positive ...

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Bifurcation analysis of fractional Kirchhoff–Schrödinger–Poisson systems in $\mathbb R^3$

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
In this paper, we investigate the bifurcation results of the fractional Kirchhoff–Schrödinger–Poisson system \begin{equation*} \begin{cases} M([u]_s^2)(-\Delta)^s u+V(x)u+\phi(x) u=\lambda g(x)|u|^{p-1}u+|u|^{2_s^*-2}u~~&{\rm in}~\mathbb{R}^3, \\

Neimark–Sacker bifurcation and the generate cases of Kopel oligopoly model with different adjustment speed

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
In this paper, bifurcations and chaotic behaviours of Kopel oligopoly model with different adjustment speed are discussed. The results imply that the Kopel oligopoly model undergoes flip bifurcation, Neimark–Sacker bifurcation, 1:3 and 1:4 resonances ...

Unraveling MXene Oxidation Mechanisms Under Realistic Gas Environments by In Situ Gas‐Cell TEM

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Real‐time visualization of MXene degradation reveals a fundamental oxidation mechanism under oxygen and moisture environments. Using in situ gas‐cell electron microscopy, this study demonstrates that oxygen degradation drives a thermodynamically controlled high‐temperature transformation into mixed rutile/anatase phases.

Shaping Matter with Acoustic Waves: From Particles to Functional Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Acoustic‐directed assembly is reviewed as a materials‐oriented strategy for organizing particles, polymers, metals, and biological systems into functional structures. The review distinguishes reversible manipulation from permanent structure formation through medium fixation, particle fixation, and in situ material generation, highlighting routes toward
