Global boundedness in a fully parabolic attraction–repulsion chemotaxis model
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2014This paper deals with a fully parabolic attraction–repulsion chemotaxis system in two‐dimensional smoothly bounded domains. It is shown that the system admits global bounded classical solutions whenever the repulsion is dominated. The proof is based on an entropy‐like inequality and coupled estimate techniques.

Boundedness of global solutions of nonlocal parabolic equations
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 1997It is well-known that some parabolic equations (with fixed boundary conditions) have some solutions which exist for all time and some which only exist on a finite time interval \((0,T^*)\), depending on the initial conditions. In some circumstances, it is also known that, while the solutions which exist only on \((0,T^*)\) become unbounded as \(t\to T^*

Global uniform boundedness of a class delayed chaotic networks
Proceedings of the 33rd Chinese Control Conference, 2014This paper deals with the global uniform boundedness of a class of delayed chaotic networks. Under some simple conditions, the global boundedness of a network about its all variables is derived by only considering the global boundedness of its partial variables.

Boundedness and global asymptotic stability of a forced oscillator
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 1995The authors consider a forced oscillator described by a differential equation \[ x''+ cx'+ g(x)= p(t),\tag{1} \] where \(c> 0\) is a fixed constant, \(g: \mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\) is sufficiently smooth and has limits at infinity, \(g(- \infty)= \lim_{x\to -\infty} g(x)\), \(g(+ \infty)= \lim_{x\to +\infty} g(x)\), satisfying the inequality \(g ...

Global Boundedness of an Alarm–Taxis System With Nonlinear Diffusion
Mathematical Methods in the Applied SciencesABSTRACTIn this paper, we study an alarm–taxis system with nonlinear diffusion . We consider this problem in a bounded domain with Neumann boundary conditions. By the complex coupling energy estimates based on the Neumann semigroup smoothing properties, we establish the existence of globally bounded weak solutions for any .

Global Boundedness of Solutions of Continuous Social Stratification Model
2021We consider the continuous social stratification model in the special case when the influence of negative factors is uniformly spread among the society. We first obtain spatially homogeneous solutions of the problem. Next we employ the comparison theorems for nonlinear parabolic equations to derive sufficient conditions of global boundedness and blow ...
