Homoclinic orbits around spinning black holes. II. The phase space portrait [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In paper I in this series, we found exact expressions for the equatorial homoclinic orbits: the separatrix between bound and plunging, whirling and not whirling motion.

Formation Control of Multi‐Agent System with Local Interaction and Artificial Potential Field

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article proposes a local interaction‐based formation control method for Multi‐Agent system, integrating consensus and leader‐follower strategies with a stress response mechanism—artificial potential field to reduce communication overhead and enable obstacle avoidance. Experimental results on triangular, square, and hexagonal formations confirm its

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

Novel unified chaotic system with multi-parameter invariable Lyapunov exponent spectrum

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2020
Based on the traditional Qi chaotic system,a novel unified chaotic system with the complex chaotic characteristics was constructed by adding the control parameters and modifying the nonlinear terms.Firstly, basic dynamical characteristics of chaotic ...

Dynamics of the diffusive DM-DE interaction--dynamical system approach

open access: yes, 2016
We discuss dynamics of a model of an energy transfer between dark energy (DE) and dark matter (DM). The energy transfer is determined by a non-conservation law resulting from a diffusion of dark matter in an environment of dark energy.

Topological phase transition of the anisotropic XY model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical review B, 2018
Within the real space renormalization group we obtain the phase portrait of the anisotropic quantum $XY$ model on square lattice in presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction.

The Age‐Dependent Resident Myonuclear Multi‐Omic Response to an Acute Skeletal Muscle Hypertrophic Stimulus in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Resident myonuclei are the molecular “control centers” for large multinuclear muscle fibers. It is presumed that, with aging, these control centers become compromised and contribute to delayed or blunted muscle adaptive potential. This study is a detailed roadmap that exposes how young versus aged myonuclei respond to a hypertrophic loading stimulus ...

Global phase portraits of quintic reversible uniform isochronous centers

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
This paper studies the global phase portraits of uniform isochronous quintic centers at the origin with time reversibility such that their nonlinear part is not homogeneous. By using Poincaré compactification, we obtain all possible phase portraits of this quintic polynomial differential system.

A Chirality‐Converted Bacteriolytic Dodecapeptide Regulates Vibrio‐Induced Polymicrobial Infection and Ameliorates Invasion‐Associated Gut Microbiota Disequilibrium

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multidrug‐resistant Vibrio infections are rising rapidly and threaten coastal populations worldwide. This study introduces D‐zp37, a chirality‐engineered antimicrobial peptide with exceptional potency against resistant Vibrio species. D‐zp37 kills planktonic cells, blocks mixed‐species biofilms, disrupts essential bacterial stress responses, and shows ...

Transitions of tethered polymer chains: A simulation study with the bond fluctuation lattice model

open access: yes, 2008
A polymer chain tethered to a surface may be compact or extended, adsorbed or desorbed, depending on interactions with the surface and the surrounding solvent. This leads to a rich phase diagram with a variety of transitions.
