Cellular Identity Crisis: RD3 Loss Fuels Plasticity and Immune Silence in Progressive Neuroblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers discovered that therapy‐induced loss of RD3 protein in neuroblastoma triggers a dangerous shift: cancer cells become more stem‐like, invasive, and resistant to treatment while evading immune detection. RD3 loss suppresses antigen presentation and boosts immune checkpoints, creating an immune‐silent environment.

Feature Fusion-Based Multi-Task ConvNet for Simultaneous Optical Performance Monitoring and Bit-Rate/Modulation Format Identification

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
We propose a novel feature fusion based multi-task convolutional neural network (ConvNet) for simultaneous bit-rate and modulation format identification (BR-MFI) and optical performance monitoring (OPM) in heterogeneous fiber-optic networks. The proposed

The Age‐Dependent Resident Myonuclear Multi‐Omic Response to an Acute Skeletal Muscle Hypertrophic Stimulus in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Resident myonuclei are the molecular “control centers” for large multinuclear muscle fibers. It is presumed that, with aging, these control centers become compromised and contribute to delayed or blunted muscle adaptive potential. This study is a detailed roadmap that exposes how young versus aged myonuclei respond to a hypertrophic loading stimulus ...

Multimodal Wearable Biosensing Meets Multidomain AI: A Pathway to Decentralized Healthcare

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multimodal biosensing meets multidomain AI. Wearable biosensors capture complementary biochemical and physiological signals, while cross‐device, population‐aware learning aligns noisy, heterogeneous streams. This Review distills key sensing modalities, fusion and calibration strategies, and privacy‐preserving deployment pathways that transform ...

Model‐Inversion‐Resistant Physical Unclonable Neural Network Using Vertical NAND Flash Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic and key features of the proposed forward‐forward physical unclonable neural network (FF‐PUNN), incorporating a concealable physical unclonable function (PUF) layer and forward‐forward (FF) learning. ABSTRACT The growing use of neural networks in privacy‐sensitive applications necessitates architectures that inherently protect both data and ...

New sufficient conditions for a center and global phase portraits for polynomial systems

open access: yesPublicacions Matemàtiques, 1996
The authors consider a system \[ x'=P(x,y),\quad y'=Q(x,y), \] where \(P,Q\) are polynomials in \(x,y\). They study the function \(1/M(x,y)\) (where \(M\) is an integrating factor for the system) to find new explicit conditions under which the system has a center. For cubic systems, global phase portraits in the case of center existence are described.

Performance Enhancement in Hafnium Oxide Through Homogeneous and Heterogeneous co‐Doping Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a comprehensive co‐doping toolkit to optimize the performance and reliability of fluorite‐structure ferroelectrics like hafnium oxide. By employing homogeneous and heterogeneous co‐doping strategies, precise control over crystallization behavior, polarization hysteresis, and oxygen vacancy distribution is achieved.
