The impact of media coverage on the dynamics of vector-borne diseases [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Ecology and Software, 2022
In this paper, the impact of media coverage on the transmission of vector borne diseases has been investigated. The model exhibits two equilibria: a disease-free and a unique endemic equilibrium.

On Global-in-x Stability of Blasius Profiles [PDF]

open access: yesArchive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, 2020
We characterize the well known self-similar Blasius profiles, $[\bar{u}, \bar{v}]$, as downstream attractors to solutions $[u,v]$ to the 2D, stationary Prandtl system. It was established in \cite{Serrin} that $\| u - \bar{u}\|_{L^\infty_y} \rightarrow 0$ as $x \rightarrow \infty$.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Global imbalances and financial stability [PDF]

open access: yes
Much of the policy debate in coming years will hinge on two questions: have global imbalances contributed to the financial crisis? Is a reduction in global imbalances a prerequisite to ensuring global financial stability?

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Stability of Waste Paper Recycling through Graph Theory

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2018
Theprocess in which waste paper is collected and then reprocessed for reuse iscalled paper recycling. Paper recycling is very often routine of human life.Paper recycling is very important to reduce deforestation and pollution.
