Tumors of the glomus jugulare and glomus tympanicum
Cancer, 1966Seven patients with tumors of the glomus jugulare and/or glomus tympanicum —6 treated initially by radical endaural mastoidectomy and one by simple excision—are presented. Clinical, pathologic and therapeutic data are compared with cases in the world literature.

Solitary glomus tumor recurring as multiple glomus tumors
Skeletal Radiology, 2012Most glomus tumors arise as a single nodule. However, up to 10 % of glomus tumors may be multiple. We report a case in which a single glomus tumor of the leg that evolved several years after surgery to multiple glomus tumors requiring additional resections.

A glomus tumour situated at the posterior wall of the trachea in a 65-year-old man presenting with dyspnoea and haemoptysis is described. The tumour was excised with an Nd-YAG laser, with no visible recurrence a year later. This is the fifth reported case of tracheal glomus tumour.
