Vibration‐Induced Stabilization of Lithium Anodes: Synergistic Effects of Morphological and SEI Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study, for the first time, highlights the marvelous effect of mechanical vibration on the performance of lithium metal batteries. The authors demonstrate that vibration enhances the performance of lithium metal anodes through a synergistic effect: surface flattening at the macroscale and the formation of an interfacial layer that facilitates fast ...

Ultralow Overpotential in Rechargeable Li–CO2 Batteries Enabled by Caesium Phosphomolybdate as an Effective Redox Catalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study represents the first application of a Keggin‐type polyoxometalate, caesium phosphomolybdate (CPM), as a bifunctional redox catalyst for rechargeable Li–CO2 batteries. CPM significantly reduced the potential gap between discharge and charge reactions to 0.67 V, outperforming most reported catalysts. It also exhibited a high discharge capacity

Self‐Powered UV Dual‐Band Photodetector Based on Cs3BiCl6/GaN Heterojunction for Logical Operation and Encrypted Photo‐Communication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Utilizing the special dual‐band absorption characteristics of Cs3BiCl6 and its strong surface‐charge recombination behavior, a self‐powered UV dual‐band photodetector based on Cs3BiCl6/GaN heterojunction is developed. As a result, the photodetector exhibits excellent specific detectivity of 1.23 × 1012 Jones and ultrafast response speed of τr/τf = 28 ...
