Association between prediagnostic serum metabolites and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma risk in two prospective cohorts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 157, Issue 7, Page 1304-1315, 1 October 2025.
What's New? Exposures and mechanisms that contribute to and promote pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remain unclear. In this study, the authors applied metabolomics to better understand PDAC etiology by examining associations between prediagnostic serum metabolites and PDAC risk.

Integrative Genomic and Transcriptomic Analysis Reveals Targetable Vulnerabilities in Angioimmunoblastic T‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 100, Issue 9, Page 1486-1501, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Nodal follicular helper T‐cell (T FH) lymphoma of the angioimmunoblastic (AITL) subtype has a dismal prognosis. Using whole‐exome sequencing (n = 124), transcriptomic (n = 78), and methylation (n = 40) analysis, we identified recurrent mutations in known epigenetic drivers (TET2, DNMT3A, IDH2 R172 ) and novel ones (TET3, KMT2D).

Glucose Metabolic Reprogramming in Colorectal Cancer: From Mechanisms to Targeted Therapy Approaches

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 17, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant tumors, and its morbidity ranks third among all cancers, with a trend toward younger patients. Metabolic reprogramming, a unique metabolic mode in tumor cells, is closely related to the occurrence and development of CRC. Numerous studies have confirmed that many genetic and

Personalized Genome‐Scale Modeling Reveals Metabolic Perturbations in Fibroblasts of Methylmalonic Aciduria Patients

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 48, Issue 5, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Cobalamin (vitamin B12) is an essential cofactor for two human enzymes, methionine synthase and methylmalonyl‐CoA mutase. Inborn errors of cobalamin metabolism (IECMs) are inherited genetic defects resulting in improper transport, modification, or utilization of cobalamin and include inherited methylmalonic acidurias, a group of IECMs most ...
