Chronic microinflammation in high myopia suppresses MANF in lens epithelial cells. MANF normally resides within MAMs and promotes ubiquitin‐mediated degradation of the ER Ca2+ pump SERCA2. MANF loss causes pathological SERCA2 accumulation, MAM hyperassembly, and disrupted ER‐to‐mitochondria Ca2+ transfer, leading to mitochondrial failure, oxidative ...

To address the multifaceted imbalance in diabetic keratopathy, a light‐responsive biomimetic platform (WCNx‐Rh2) is developed and integrates glucose degradation, immune modulation, and antibacterial defense through a designed heterojunction and screened immunomodulator. WCNx‐Rh2 reduces AGEs/ROS and inflammatory signaling, reprogramming dendritic cells

ABSTRACT Coacervate droplets formed via liquid–liquid phase separation offer unique opportunities as microreactors and delivery vehicles due to their ability to selectively concentrate biomolecules and support biochemical reactions. However, their passive nature severely restricts precise spatial and temporal control, posing barriers to practical ...

Effects of Various Inhibitors on the Flavor and Nutritional Quality of Heat-treated Lychee Juice
In order to reduce the cooked off-flavor of lychee juice after thermal processing, six inhibitors were screened, including pyrogallol, gallic acid, rosmarinic acid, catechins, ascorbic acid, and glucose oxidase.

A biomimetic GOx/Arg‐loaded nanoplatform produces nitric oxide through an in situ catalytic cascade reaction, enabling dual‐target metabolic regulation in diabetes‐associated biofilm infections. Bacterial metabolism is disrupted, and macrophage immunometabolism is reprogrammed, resulting in biofilm eradication, immune restoration, and enhanced ...

Analytical Parameters of an Amperometric Glucose Biosensor for Fast Analysis in Food Samples
Amperometric biosensors based on the use of glucose oxidase (GOx) are able to combine the robustness of electrochemical techniques with the specificity of biological recognition processes. However, very little information can be found in literature about

In sepsis‐induced liver injury, marked neutrophil infiltration correlates with disease severity. Neutrophil SLC11A1 drives intracellular Fe2+ and ROS via the Fenton reaction, promoting NETs formation. Hepatocyte‐derived CXCL10 recruits neutrophils and activates the JAK/STAT1/SLC11A1 axis, enhancing NETs‐mediated inflammation.

Purification and Characterization of Glucose Oxidase of Aspergillus niger IPBCC.08.610
Glucose oxidase was an enzyme which catalyzed β-D-Glucose to gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Glucose oxidase from Aspergillus niger IPBCC.08.610 was isolated, purified and characterized. The enzyme was purified by ammonium sulphate precipitation and

Immobilized Glucose Oxidase Used to Measure Glucose in Serum
Abstract We report an analytical system in which glucose oxidase immobilized on controlled-pore glass is used. The immobilized glucose oxidase was packed in a column that was part of a continuous-flow system. Oxygen depletion of the buffer was measured with a Clark-type electrode, and the resulting data were stored on tape and then ...

A multi‐omics framework combining multitissue genome‐wide association studies, metabolomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional validation uncovers the genetic basis of specialized metabolism in quinoa. The study identifies hundreds of metabolite‐associated loci, prioritizes candidate genes for saponin, betalain, and flavonoid biosynthesis ...
