Interference in glucose oxidase-peroxidase blood glucose methods
Clinica Chimica Acta, 1972Abstract Interference by certain compounds with the glucose oxidase-peroxidase system used in blood glucose estimations appears to be a function of the oxygen affinity of the oxygen acceptor chromogen or the oxidative coupling system. It has been shown 1 that tolazamide interferes seriously with the Boehringer GOD-PERID blood glucose method.

Enzymatic detection of ethanol and glucose with alcohol oxidase and glucose oxidase
2014Detection of ethanol and glucose by means of high accuracy, sensitivity and specificity is still required in various areas. There are different methods and devices already used in the market which include spectrometry, chromatography and IR detection. Enzymatic detection of ethanol and glucose is also significant and has been applied in various devices
