One-loop light-cone QCD, effective action for reggeized gluons and QCD RFT calculus

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
The effective action for reggeized gluons is based on the gluodynamic Yang–Mills Lagrangian with external current for longitudinal gluons added, see Lipatov (Nucl Phys B 452:369, 1995; Phys Rep 286:131, 1997; Subnucl Ser 49:131, 2013; Int J Mod Phys Conf

Wigner distributions for gluons

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
We investigate the gluon Wigner distributions for unpolarized, longitudinally polarized and transversely polarized target state. Instead of a nucleon, we take the target state to be a quark dressed with a gluon at one loop and investigate the gluon ...

Thermalization of mini-jets in a quark-gluon plasma [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
We present the complete physical picture for the evolution of a high-energy jet propagating through a weakly-coupled quark-gluon plasma (QGP) by analytical and numerical investigation of thermalization of the soft components of the jet.

Cross sections for gluon + gluon → heavy quarkonium + gluon [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1987
Abstract Using the helicity amplitude formalism, we derive simple cross section formulae for the production of heavy quarkonia through the process g+g → ( 2S+1 L J )+ g when L = S or P. Within the framework of perturbative QCD, these subprocesses are important for the hadroproduction of heavy quarkonia.

Gluon condensate potentials [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1983
Abstract Attempts to represent the “gluon condensate”, of Shifman, Vainshtein and Zakharov, by a quark-antiquark potential, are critically reviewed. In particular, it is noted that the Leutwyler-Voloshin level shifts, in hydrogen-atom-like heavy quarkonia, are well reproduced by a static potential. But it is mass dependent.

Soft-Collinear Factorization in Effective Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The factorization of soft and ultrasoft gluons from collinear particles is shown at the level of operators in an effective field theory. Exclusive hadronic factorization and inclusive partonic factorization follow as special cases.

Classical Initial Conditions for Ultrarelativistic Heavy Ion Collisions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We construct an analytical expression for the distribution of gluons in the state immediately following a heavy ion collision in the quasi-classical limit of QCD given by McLerran-Venugopalan model.
