The karyotype of Glycine soja and its relationship to that of the soybean, Glycine max.

open access: yesCYTOLOGIA, 1984
Glycine sofa, a wild species of Eastern Asia, is the closest relative of the soybean, Glycine max. Its chromosome number is the same as that of the soybean (2n=40). The chromosomes are small and difficult to manipulate. The quantitative methods used in studying G. max were employed to determine the genomic structure of G. sofa.

A Soft, Flexible Implant for Wireless Photothermal–Pyroelectric Neurostimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A replication strategy is used to enlarge the exposed surface area of barium titanate within flexible films with embedded carbon nanotubes, enabling efficient photothermal‐pyroelectric stimulation. Polar crystalline nanosheets show superior performance in guiding neural progenitor cells toward neuronal differentiation.

Ultrasound‐Actuated Gene Editing in Human Kidney Organoids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Peptide‐stabilized nanoemulsions enable spatially controlled, ultrasound‐triggered delivery of gene‐editing proteins deep within human kidney organoid tissues. Focused acoustic pulses drive droplet vaporization, propelling cargo into target renal cells while preserving native tissue microarchitecture. This non‐viral platform improves both the depth and

Differential influence of shoot extracts of winter cover crops on seed germination of corn, soybean and indicator plants

open access: yesCommunications in Plant Sciences, 2017
The objective was to test the response of summer crops (Zea mays and Glycine max) and indicator plants to exposure to extracts of winter cover crops (Avena sativa, Lolium multiflorum and Triticum aestivum) regarding on seed germination.

Auto‐Downregulation of the Florigen FT Production Prevents Precocious Flowering in Plants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that the leaf vein‐expressed FD complexes with the florigen FT to bind DNA motifs in FT promoter, which antagonizes CONSTANS‐mediated FT activation to feedback down‐regulate FT expression. This prevents an excessive induction of FT expression by inductive photoperiods, thereby precluding precocious transition to flowering in ...

ABHD17C‐Mediated S‐Depalmitoylation of BCL6B Enhances CD24 Transcription to Resist Macrophage Phagocytosis in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABHD17C‐mediated depalmitoylation of BCL6B at Cys442 blocks its nuclear import and triggers ubiquitin‐dependent degradation, attenuating transcriptional repression of the anti‐phagocytic signal CD24. This mechanism enables pancreatic cancer cells to evade macrophage phagocytosis and fosters an immunosuppressive microenvironment.
