Sustainable control of Dalbulus maidis: A field study with entomopathogenic fungi

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, Volume 173, Issue 11, Page 1156-1164, November 2025.
Dalbulus maidis, a plant pathogen vector, poses a serious threat to maize production and food security. We investigated the potential synergistic effects between formulations based on entomopathogenic fungi and corn hybrids with varying resistance to maize stunt complex and Maize rayado fino virus. The combined management of M. anisopliae + B. bassiana

Pyrrole‐Imine Macrocycle: Self‐Organizing Cross‐Reactive Anion Receptor and Sensor

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 57, October 13, 2025.
An imine macrocycle comprising pyrroles as hydrogen‐bond donors and an environmentally sensitive fluorophore displays a wide cross‐reactive binding, which, in combination with an analyte‐specific fluorescence response allows differentiation between ten analytes and their concentrations.

Recent advances on MOF‐based colorimetric sensors

open access: yesBulletin of the Korean Chemical Society, Volume 46, Issue 10, Page 918-939, October 2025.
MOF‐based colorimetric sensors are widely explored due to their operational simplicity and outstanding structural tunability. In this review, the recent progress of MOF‐based colorimetric sensors is discussed, focusing on the role of MOFs in chromogenic transduction pathways.

SynCom‐mediated herbicide degradation activates microbial carbon metabolism in soils

open access: yesiMeta, Volume 4, Issue 5, October 2025.
Extensive herbicide residues in the black soil of northeastern China are considered a significant agricultural pollution threat, yet effective bioremediation of this complex and persistent mixture remains a challenge. We provided an herbicide degradation and ecosystem regulation model of SynCom in soil. We also demonstrated the effectiveness of SynCom “
