Influence of Foliar Exposure, Adjuvants, and Rain-free Period on the Efficacy of Glyphosate for Torpedograss Control [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The proportion of torpedograss tissue exposed to glyphosate at application rates of 0.28, 0.56, 1.12, 2.24, and 4.48 kg/ha affected control as measured by regrowth. The effect of tissue exposure was more pronounced as application rate decreased.

Effects of In Vivo Exposure to Roundup® on Immune System of Caiman latirostris. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of Roundup® (RU, glyphosate-based formulation) on some parameters of the immune system and growth of Caiman latirostris. Seventy-two caimans (20-day-old) from Proyecto Yacaré (Gob. Santa Fe/MUPCN) were used.

Cytotoxicity of 19 Pesticides in Rainbow Trout Gill, Liver, and Intestinal Cell Lines

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology and Chemistry, EarlyView.
Abstract The rainbow trout gill cell line (RTgill‐W1), via test guideline 249 of the Organisation for Economic Co‐operation and Development, has been established as a promising New Approach Methodology, although to advance confidence in the method more case studies are needed that: 1) expand our understanding of applicability domains (chemicals with ...

FIGO committee opinion: Environmental drivers of gynecologic and reproductive health

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract This FIGO committee opinion paper addresses the growing body of evidence linking environmental exposures to common gynecologic and reproductive conditions across the life course. From adolescence through menopause, women are exposed to a wide range of environmental toxicants, including endocrine‐disrupting chemicals, air pollutants, heavy ...

FIGO committee opinion: Environmental drivers of obstetric health and early childhood development

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Environmental exposures are increasingly recognized as critical, yet underappreciated, determinants of reproductive, perinatal, and early childhood health. Developed through a structured consensus process and grounded in systematic evidence review, this FIGO committee opinion provides a comprehensive synthesis of the current evidence linking ...
