Association mapping for canopy temperature under irrigated and rainfed conditions at 12 environments identified both known and novel genetic loci

open access: yesThe Plant Genome, Volume 19, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is the most widely cultivated oilseed crop and faces significant yield challenges due to drought stress. Canopy temperature has been proposed as an effective proxy for evaluation of differences in genotypic responses to water limitation, as well as indirectly assessing transpiration and stomatal conductance ...

Sanitation felling against the European spruce bark beetle: A matter of intensity and forest type Tagli fitosanitari contro il bostrico tipografo: una questione di intensità e tipologia forestale

open access: yesAgricultural and Forest Entomology, Volume 28, Issue 3, Page 382-397, August 2026.
We assess the effect of sanitation felling performed in 2022 in North‐Eastern Italy on bark beetle damage that occurred in 2023 across eight spruce forest types, as evaluated using multispectral satellite imagery. Bark beetle damage was reduced only at very high or very low sanitation felling rates.

Pendugaan Kerapatan Mangrove dengan Algoritma Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) dan Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI).

open access: yes, 2017

From research to conservation: Site selection for habitat restoration of a narrowly distributed and critically endangered butterfly

open access: yesConservation Science and Practice, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2026.
This study focuses on the conservation of a rare butterfly in northwestern Italy threatened by woody encroachment. Using field data, topography, and remote sensing, we modelled habitat suitability and connectivity. A 0.6‐ha site was selected for restoration, illustrating how predictive models can guide targeted conservation actions.

Korišćenje ručnog multispektralnog senzora i bespilotne letelice u praćenju razvoja i produktivnosti soje u prirodnim uslovima vlaženja [PDF]

open access: yes

Photosynthetic activity of US biomes: responses to the spatial variability and seasonality of precipitation and temperature

open access: yes, 2004
We examined the response of the normalized difference vegetation index, integrated over the growing season (gNDVI) to mean precipitation, maximum temperature (Tmax), and minimum temperature (Tmin) over an 11-year period (1990–2000) for six biomes in the ...

Clipping has stronger effects on plant production than does warming in three alpine meadow sites on the Northern Tibetan Plateau

open access: yes, 2017
The relative effects of warming and clipping on vegetation growth are not fully understood. Therefore, we compared the relative effects of experimental warming and clipping on the normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI), green NDVI (GNDVI), soil ...
