Analysis of High‐Risk Factors for Failure of Bleeding Control in Enhanced Myometrial Vascularity Treated With Uterine Artery Embolization

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
Enhanced Myometrial Vascularity (EMV) is a serious gynecological condition that often leads to abnormal uterine bleeding. Malformation size and involvement of the uterine fundus are significant risk factors. If EMV diameter > 3.85 cm, the bleeding of the patient is more likely to result in failure in UAE treatment.

Letrozole+ GnRH antagonist stimulation protocol in poor ovarian responders undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycles: An RCT [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Reproductive BioMedicine, 2017
Background: Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist protocol has been proposed as a potentially proper option for the patients with limited ovarian reserve.

Monitoring Changes in Sperm Concentration and Quality Help Improve Captive Breeding Outcomes of the Endangered Amphibian Rawlinsonia littlejohni

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Zoology Part A: Ecological and Integrative Physiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Amphibians are among the most threatened taxonomic groups, with many species experiencing rapid declines that have resulted in small, isolated populations vulnerable to inbreeding depression and reduced fertility. One major outcome of inbreeding is lowered fecundity, often linked to morphological changes in gametes.

Endocrine therapy‐induced cancer‐related fatigue in hormone‐dependent malignancies: Mechanisms, impact, and management strategies

open access: yesPrecision Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
Multipathway schematic of endocrine therapy–induced cancer‐related fatigue. Endocrine interventions trigger four interacting mechanisms—neuroendocrine dysregulation, systemic inflammation, energy‐metabolic failure, and psycho‐behavioral amplification—that culminate in the multidimensional CRF phenotype.

Effects of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) as luteal phase support in intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles: a randomized controlled trial

open access: yesMiddle East Fertility Society Journal, 2020
Background This paper describes a blind randomized controlled trial (RCT) designed to evaluate the effect of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) administration on outcomes of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in subjects stimulated with

Assessing physiological, behavioral and movement responses to Suprelorin implant delivery methods in free‐ranging eastern grey kangaroos Macropus giganteus

open access: yesWildlife Biology, EarlyView.
Overabundant populations of eastern grey kangaroos Macropus giganteus in peri‐urban areas pose ecological and social challenges. Current management strategies are often hindered by animal welfare and logistical concerns. This study aimed to assess stress responses of kangaroos to two contraceptive delivery methods.

Advent of NK3R Antagonists for the Treatment of Menopausal Hot Flushes: A Narrative Review

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The menopause transition is marked by symptoms predominantly attributed to declining oestrogen levels. Approximately 80% of women experience associated symptoms, and 25% experience severe symptoms. The commonest are vasomotor symptoms (VMS), collectively referring to hot flushes and/or night sweats.

A Case of Switching from GnRH Agonist to Antagonist for Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer Control

open access: yesCase Reports in Oncology, 2019
GnRH antagonist and GnRH agonist are widely used as androgen deprivation therapy for metastatic prostate cancer. A previous report demonstrated that patients with PSA levels of >20 ng/mL using GnRH antagonists showed favorable outcomes in comparison
