Prolactinomas in the transition from adolescence to young adulthood: A multicentre, retrospective study from the TALENT group

open access: yesJournal of Neuroendocrinology, Volume 38, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract Prolactinomas in the transition age present unique challenges; treatment strategies and long‐term outcomes in this population remain incompletely characterised. This is a multicentre, retrospective study of 110 consecutive patients (33 males) with prolactinomas, aged 15–25 years, across five Italian referral centres (2010–2025).

Impact of MED12 mutation and CDK8 activity on uterine leiomyoma growth and response to gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist treatment.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
MED12 exon 2 mutation is the most frequent mutation associated with uterine leiomyomas. MED12 wild-type leiomyomas have a higher growth potential than mutant leiomyomas, suggesting that the mutation limits leiomyoma growth.

Buserelin Improves Ovulation‐Embryo Synchrony Compared With hCG After eCG‐Induced Superovulation in Donor Sows

open access: yesReproduction in Domestic Animals, Volume 61, Issue S3, October 2026.
ABSTRACT This study directly compares hCG and buserelin as ovulation‐inducing agents following eCG‐based superovulation in weaned donor sows, focusing on their practical impact on ovulation‐embryo synchrony under field conditions. Fifty‐five multiparous sows received 1000 IU eCG 24 h after weaning and were treated at onset of estrus with either 750 IU ...

Beyond canonical homeostasis: Dynamic, plastic, and intermittently unregulated physiology as the norm

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 20, October 2026.
Abstract Homeostasis is often taught as steady‐state regulation keeping internal variables within narrow limits—reflecting a mammalian bias. Yet, canonical homeostasis is far from universal. In many animals, including humans, normal physiological states allow some variables to fluctuate cyclically or stochastically while others remain tightly ...

COMBINED GNRH-AGONIST AND HMG THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH STIMULATION FAILURE

open access: yes, 1991
This study deals with the combined therapy of GnRH-agonist (GnRH-a) and HMG for stimulation in 15 patients who failed two prior in vitro fertilization attempts.

Zayıf over cevaplı hastalarda ultra kısa GnRH agonist/antagonist protokolünün mikrodoz flare up protokolü ile karşılaştırılması

open access: yes, 2010
Objective: To determine the potential effect of the ultrashort gonadotropin- releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist/GnRH antagonist protocol versus the microdose GnRH agonist protocol in poor responders undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI ...
