A Stochastic Approach to Goal Programming
Operations Research, 1968This paper deals with the problem of attaining a set of targets (goals) by means of a set of instruments (subgoals) when the relation between the two groups of variables can be expressed with a linear system of stochastic equations. The objective function consists of the maximization of the probability that a realization (in terms of target variables)

Goal Programming and the Goals-Achievement Matrix
International Regional Science Review, 1978The paper describes a hybrid model which combines the goals-achievement matrix approach with goal programming. It allows for the explicit incorporation of the different objectives and values of the partners to the decisionmaking process and other affected parties in the determination of the preferred set of policies.

An Iterative Approach to Goal Programming
Operational Research Quarterly (1970-1977), 1977An iterative approach is developed for solving general goal programming problems. This approach is then used to solve several nonlinear examples, including an integer solution problem. A dual for linear goal programming problems is developed and sensitivity analysis is discussed.

Extended interval goal programming
Journal of the Operational Research Society, 1999This paper focuses on possible problems associated with the use of penalty functions in Goal Programming (GP). In this sense we illustrate, with the help of numerical examples, how an assumption of separability amongst decision maker\'s preferences wich underlies these approaches, can be produced in the corresponding GP models extremely biased results ...

Interactive Sequential Goal Programming
Journal of the Operational Research Society, 1981This paper introduces a new solution method based on Goal Programming for Multiple Objective Decision Making (MODM) problems. The method, called Interactive Sequential Goal Programming (ISGP), combines and extends the attractive features of both Goal Programming and interactive solution approaches for MODM problems.

Multi-coefficients goal programming
Computers & Industrial Engineering, 2012In today's increasingly competitive business environment, maintaining profit margins or quantities of goods sold is an important issue for businesses. Accordingly, more and more industries use group pricing discrimination strategy to attract potential customers in order to increase competitive advantage.

Programming with Commitments and Goals in JaCaMo+
International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2015This paper discusses how agents can be endowed with social capabilities in JaCaMo+, an extension of JaCaMo, in which Jason agents can reason on social relationships represented as commitments. The logic of the interactions is captured by special CArtAgO artifacts which reify commitments and commitment-based protocols as resources that agents can use ...
