The use of goal programming for the solution of the multiple criteria problem is discussed. An extension of this use is presented in the form of an algorithm which requires interaction with the relevant decision-maker in order to obtain certain information regarding his utility function defined over the permissible values of the criteria.

Revised multi-segment goal programming: Percentage goal programming
Computers & Industrial Engineering, 2012The multi-segment goal programming (MSGP) model is an extension model of GP wherein the core thinking is inherited from the multi-choice goal programming (MCGP) model. In this paper, we recommend certain points of the MSGP model and offer a Revised MSGP Model as an aid to burdened decision makers who cannot expect an either-or selection of coefficients

Interactive Sequential Goal Programming
Journal of the Operational Research Society, 1981This paper introduces a new solution method based on Goal Programming for Multiple Objective Decision Making (MODM) problems. The method, called Interactive Sequential Goal Programming (ISGP), combines and extends the attractive features of both Goal Programming and interactive solution approaches for MODM problems.

Goal programming with dynamic goals
Journal of Multi‐Criteria Decision Analysis, 1998Summary: The aim of this paper is to present a dynamic goal programming scheme. Throughout the revised literature, most of the dynamic goal programming approaches use target values on the final value of the objective functionals. In this paper, dynamic target values are assumed, so that they control not only the final values of the corresponding, but ...
