En Route Toward Sustainable Polycarbonates via Large Cyclic Carbonates

The use of safe carbonylating agents, allowed by a suitable (bio)catalytic systems, affords the sustainable and green synthesis of large‐ring cyclic carbonates by reaction of renewables such as bio‐based diols.
