Mechanism of Intensifying Cyanide Leaching of Gold from a Calcine by the Pretreatment of Acid or Alkali Washing

Minerals, Metals and Materials Series, 2017
The direct cyanide leaching rate of gold from a gold calcine was only 71.33%, due to 19.51% of gold being encapsulated in the iron oxides. To enhance the cyanide leaching of gold, the calcine was pretreated by acid and alkali washing and the relevant intensifying mechanism was also researched.

Red and Gold Washing

2018
This chapter describes a shift in Asian art shows in the late 1990s, highlighting the growing prominence of Chinese Art. The author examines how this shift impacted Asian American women artists in California. The chapter focuses on Chinese artist Hung Liu, who has been living in California for decades and does not identify as Asian American.

Preparation of alumina supported gold catalysts: Influence of washing procedures, mechanism of particles size growth

Applied Catalysis A: General, 2006
This publication deals with the influence upon catalytic gold particle size distribution of the washing procedures preceding calcination. The proposed preparation method and washing procedures lead to perfectly reproducible gold catalysts with a gold particle size of less than 2 nm.

Intensification of Gold Leaching from a Multi-refractory Gold Concentrate by the Two-Stage Roasting—Alkaline Sulfide Washing—Cyanidation Process

Minerals, Metals and Materials Series, 2017
The cyanide leaching rate of gold from a multi-refractory gold concentrate (18.05 g/t Au) containing 1.62% As, 20.76% S, 6.95% C and 1.31% Sb was only 1.33%. The enhancement of gold leaching was studied mainly by the pretreatment of oxidative roasting and alkaline sulfide washing.

Quality driven gold washing adaptive vector quantization and its application to ECG data compression

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 2000
The gold washing (GW) adaptive vector quantization (AVQ) (GW-AVQ) is a relatively new scheme for data compression. The adaptive nature of the algorithm provides the robustness for wide variety of the signals. However, the performance of GW-AVQ is highly dependent on a preset parameter called distortion threshold (dth) which must be determined by ...
