AC Sunbury: A new light yellow-fleshed medium early table potato cultivar with resistance to golden cyst nematode

American Journal of Potato Research, 2002
AC Sunbury is an attractive, round /oval, medium early table potato with light yellow flesh and very good culinary quality, especially when baked. It produces yields comparable to Jemseg or Superior at 80 days and is resistant to the golden cyst nematode Rol and to infection by PVY°.

Missaukee: A Round White Potato Variety Combining Chip-Processing With Resistance to Late Blight, Verticillium Wilt and Golden Cyst Nematode

American Journal of Potato Research, 2009
Previously identified as breeding line MSJ461-1, Missaukee is a round white chip processing potato variety resulting from a cross between Tollocan and NY88 and has foliar resistance to potato late blight (Phytophthora infestans de Bary). This variety has an attractive round shape and mildly netted, bright skin.

Analysis of Diversity of Golden Potato Cyst Nematode (Globodera rostochiensis) Populations from Poland using Molecular Approaches

Journal of Phytopathology, 2011
AbstractGlobodera rostochiensis is one of the most important plant parasitic nematodes, worldwide. As a quarantine pest of solanaceous crops, the species is often subjected to the morphological and genetic analysis as well as biological tests. They constitute the basis for this nematode detection and control.

On the reliability of recombinase polymerase amplification – lateral flow assay using ITS rRNA gene primers and probe as a new detection method of the golden potato cyst nematode, Globodera rostochiensis

2023

Determination of Resistance Levels of National Potato Cultivars and Clones Against Golden Cyst Nematode Pathotype Ro2/3 via Phenotypic and DNA Marker-Assisted Characterization

Potato Research
Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of our important agricultural products, which is the main food source for people in T & uuml;rkiye, as well as all over the world. There are many diseases and pests that reduce productivity in potato plant production.

Rapid detection of the golden potato cyst nematode, Globodera rostochiensis, based on microsatellite markers using Recombinase Polymerase Amplification assay with lateral flow dipsticks

Nematology
Summary Recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) is a single tube, isothermal amplification technique, operating at constant temperature with minimal sample preparation. The RPA assay, combined with lateral flow dipsticks (LF) and existing species-specific primers designed previously, has been developed ...
