Solution Temperature Compensation Factor for the Measured pH Value of Cement‐Based Materials
Most of the conventional pH measurements were carried out in acidic to slightly alkaline solutions. In this pH range, the effect of temperature during the measurement is negligible and can be ignored. However, the pH value for highly alkaline solutions is considerably sensitive to their temperature change.

Inverse Compton e-p pair cascade model for the gamma-ray production in massive binary LSI +61^o 303 [PDF]
We apply an inverse Compton $e^\pm$ pair cascade model for $\gamma$-ray production in massive binary system LSI +61$^{\rm o}$ 303 assuming that electrons are accelerated already inside the inner part of the jet launched by the compact object.

Ordered low-temperature structure in K4C60 detected by infrared spectroscopy [PDF]
Infrared spectra of a K4C60 single-phase thin film have been measured between room temperature and 20 K. At low temperatures, the two high-frequency T1u modes appear as triplets, indicating a static D2h crystal-field stabilized Jahn-Teller distortion of ...

Sovereignty and the Persistence of the Aesthetic
British constitutional thought tends to understand sovereignty in legalistic terms, with the concept often equated with the doctrine of parliamentary sovereignty. As Loughlin and Tierney have recently argued, this approach obscures the political considerations which undergird the legal precept. In this article we argue that this approach misses a third,

High energy blazars spectroscopy with X-Shooter on the VLT
We present results of observations in the UV to near-IR range for eight blazars, three of which have been recently discovered at Very High Energies (VHE) and five appearing as interesting candidates for VHE {\gamma}-ray detection.

Efficient cloning system for construction of gene silencing vectors in Aspergillus niger [PDF]
An approach based on Gateway recombination technology to efficiently construct silencing vectors was developed for use in the biotechnologically important fungus Aspergillus niger. The transcription activator of xylanolytic and cellulolytic genes XlnR of

The Authority of Constituent Power
This article delves into a specific facet of the widely acknowledged ‘paradox of constitutionalism’. Specifically, it focuses on the tension between the disruptive aspect of constituent power and its alleged authority. Paying special attention to the Chilean social outbreak and the constitutional process that followed, the article draws inspiration ...
