Differences in the Effect of Sanding Wind Speed Thresholds on Wind Erosion Assessment Results [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Soil wind erosion is an important cause of topsoil loss in arid and semi-arid areas of China, and the estimation of wind erosion is related to meteorology, topography, soil, vegetation and other factors, and the threshold value of sand initiation wind ...

Different Orbital Controls on Detrital Magnetic Components in the Ninety‐East Ridge Since the Late Pleistocene

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 19, 16 October 2026.
Abstract Magnetic minerals preserved in marginal‐sea sediments can serve as distinct fingerprints for unraveling paleoenvironmental evolution. However, the forcing mechanisms that govern the transport and accumulation of individual magnetic minerals at orbital timescales remain poorly constrained.

3-D Inversion of Gravity Data of the Central and Eastern Gonghe Basin for Geothermal Exploration

open access: yes, 2022
Abstract The Gonghe Basin is one of the most important regions for the exploration and development of hot dry rock geothermal resources in China. However, there are still some controversies about the genetic mechanism of the hot dry rock geothermal system in the Gonghe Basin.

An Ediacaran Metasedimentary Fragment With Northern Gondwana Affinity in the Southern East Kunlun Accretionary Belt, Northern Tibetan Plateau: Implications for the Dispersal of Peri‐Gondwanan Terranes

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract Precambrian supercontinent reconstructions largely rely on robust geological constraints. Among these, the basin affinities recorded by Precambrian sedimentary fragments preserved in orogenic belts provide critical evidence for resolving the paleogeographic configurations of microcontinents and continental blocks.

Rock physics experiment and rock physical modeling of hot dry rock under high temperature

open access: yes矿业科学学报, 2023
Currently, the investigation and monitoring of geothermal energy face significant challenges, and a lack of understanding regarding the variations in physical parameters of hot dry rock reservoirs with temperature is a crucial factor.

Sensitivity Analysis and Parameterization Scheme Optimization for Soil Vertical Heterogeneity on the Tibetan Plateau Based on the Community Land Model 5.0

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, Volume 18, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Soil vertical heterogeneity significantly influences hydrothermal transport processes in the Tibetan Plateau. This study investigates how soil vertical discretization schemes affect soil texture representation and hydrothermal transport in CLM5.0 (Community Land Model) through three sensitivity experiments: a coarse scheme, the default scheme,

Large‐Scale Deformation, Strain Characteristics, and Locking Distribution of the Qilian‐Haiyuan Fault System

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract The Qilian‐Haiyuan fault system is the main tectonic boundary of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, controlling the regional tectonic deformation and seismic activity. Extensive Sentinel‐1 SAR data (2014–2021) are used to map the regional tectonic deformation, strain distribution, and locking along primary and secondary faults.

Crustal Flow‐Driven Plateau Growth and Expansion Front in NE Tibet: Insights From High‐Resolution Attenuation Tomography With High‐Density ChinArray Lg Data

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Abstract The Northeastern (NE) Tibet, as the front of plateau growth, widely absorbs northeastward extrusion, leading to significant uplift and forming a basin‐mountain tectonic framework. However, it remains unclear how the crust of NE Tibet deformed in response to the far‐field effects of the India‐Eurasia collision.

Genetic Diversity and Population Genetic Structure of Endemic Schizothoracinae Fishes in the Upper Yellow River and Its Adjacent Waters

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 12, December 2025.
The upper Yellow River and Qinghai Lake populations exhibited higher genetic diversity than the isolated populations from the Qaidam River and Golmud River, with all three lineages present only in the upper Yellow River versus one or two lineages in others.
