Global Change Biology, Volume 31, Issue 3, March 2025.We evaluate how the diversity and functional traits of copepods—tiny crustaceans that constitute the majority of marine zooplankton—relate to key processes in the oceans such as the production of plankton biomass and how it sinks at depth.
