Metathesis‐Sourced Epoxides in Ring‐Opening Copolymerization: Selective Access to Degradable Polythioesters

Metathesis‐derived cyclopentene epoxides enable strictly alternating, scrambling‐free ring‐opening copolymerization with phthalic thioanhydride, yielding well‐defined polythioesters with molecular weights up to ∼38 kg/mol.
