Hadron Structure: the fundamental physics to Access via GPDs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
An introductory review of generalized parton distributions (GPDs) is given. The structure of hadrons is the fundamental physics to be accessed via GPDs.

New onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE) versus refractory status epilepticus not meeting NORSE criteria: A comparative clinical and electroencephalography‐based study

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective New onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE) is a rare, severe presentation of refractory status epilepticus (RSE), with approximately half of cases cryptogenic NORSE (c‐NORSE). We compared electroencephalographic (EEG) findings alongside clinical features between NORSE and RSE not meeting NORSE criteria to better understand ...

On convergence properties of GPD expansion through Mellin/conformal moments and orthogonal polynomials

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
We examine convergence properties of reconstructing the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) through the universal moment parameterization (GUMP). We provide a heuristic explanation for the connection between the formal summation/expansion and the ...

Vector meson gravitational form factors and generalized parton distributions at finite temperature within the soft-wall AdS/QCD model

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
We investigate the vector meson’s gravitational form factors (GFFs) and generalized parton distributions (GPDs) at finite temperatures within the soft-wall AdS/ QCD model.

Skewed generalized parton distributions of proton from basis light-front quantization

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We obtain all the leading-twist quark generalized parton distributions (GPDs) inside the proton at nonzero skewness within the basis light-front quantization framework.

Hard exclusive π0 muoproduction at COMPASS [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
Hard Exclusive Meson Production (HEMP) and Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) are very promising reactions to access Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs).

Connecting Euclidean to light-cone correlations: from flavor nonsinglet in forward kinematics to flavor singlet in non-forward kinematics

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We present a unified framework for the perturbative factorization connecting Euclidean correlations to light-cone correlations. Starting from nonlocal quark and gluon bilinear correlators, we derive the relevant hard-matching kernel up to the next-to ...

Hard exclusive reactions and generalized parton distributions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
The recently developed formalism of Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs) allows connecting the experimental information of hard exclusive reactions to the spin contribution and even to the angular momentum contribution of quarks in the nucleon.

On the Variability of Results for Cylinder Flow: A Systematic Analysis of Parameter Sensitivity Within the Lattice Boltzmann Method

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, EarlyView.
This study systematically investigates the variability of cylinder flow results. We provide a comprehensive overview of literature values and, using the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM), show that insufficient convergence studies and variations in simulation parameters are a plausible cause for the significant spread in data.

Risk Forecasting in Shipping Exchange‐Traded‐Fund (ETF) Markets

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines the risk properties of freight‐derivative‐based exchange‐traded funds (ETFs), focusing on the Breakwave Dry Bulk Shipping ETF (BDRY), and evaluates the accuracy of Value‐at‐Risk (VaR) and Expected Shortfall (ES) forecasts across a range of econometric models.
