This study integrated bioinformatics analysis, cellular models, and PD/constipation mouse models to identify SHMT2 as a key shared biomarker linking Parkinson's disease and constipation. SHMT2 upregulation was validated in dopaminergic neurons and the enteric nervous system, highlighting its potential role in gut–brain axis dysfunction.

Seasonal life‐history stages (LHS) in birds are typically regulated by environmental cues such as photoperiod and temperature. However, rufous‐collared sparrows Zonotrichia capensis inhabiting river valleys of the Atacama Desert exhibit an atypical, seasonal life cycle, including frequent overlap between reproduction and molt.

ABSTRACT Oral pre‐exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) can substantially reduce HIV infection risk when taken as prescribed. However, many individuals struggle adhering to the daily regimen. Twice‐yearly injections of the novel HIV capsid inhibitor lenacapavir (LEN) demonstrated potential in recent PrEP trials.
