ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

On graded 1 -absorbing δ -primary ideals
Let G be an abelian group with identity 0 and let R be a commutative graded ring of type G with nonzero unity. Let I(R) be the set of all ideals of R and let δ: I(R)⟶I(R) be a function. Then, according to (R. Abu-Dawwas, M. Refai, Graded δ-Primary Structures, Bol. Soc. Paran. Mat., 40 (2022), 1-11), δ is called a graded ideal expansion of a graded ring

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

$G$-prime and $G$-primary $G$-ideals on $G$-schemes
Let $G$ be a flat finite-type group scheme over a scheme $S$, and $X$ a noetherian $S$-scheme on which $G$-acts. We define and study $G$-prime and $G$-primary $G$-ideals on $X$ and study their basic properties.

Let \((A,m)\) be a Noetherian local ring with maximal ideal \(m\) and suppose that the residue field \(A/m\) is infinite. Let \(E\) be a finitely generated \(A\)-module of positive dimension \(s\). \textit{Y. Nakamura} [J. Algebra 209, 345-366 (1998; Zbl 0942.13002)] gave necessary and sufficient conditions for the associated graded rings of \(m ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Generalized stretched ideals and Sally Conjecture [PDF]
We introduce the concept of $j$-stretched ideals in a Noetherian local ring. This notion generalizes to arbitrary ideals the classical notion of stretched $\mathfrak{m}$-primary ideals of Sally and Rossi-Valla, as well as the concept of ideals of minimal

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Linear resolutions of powers and products
The goal of this paper is to present examples of families of homogeneous ideals in the polynomial ring over a field that satisfy the following condition: every product of ideals of the family has a linear free resolution.
