Magnetic-Field-Assisted Diffusion Motion of Magnetic Skyrmions

open access: yes, 2022
Studies of the diffusion dynamics of magnetic skyrmions have generated widespread interest in both fundamental physics and spintronics applications. Here we report the magnetic-field-assisted diffusion motion of skyrmions in a microstructured chiral FeGe

Effects of magnetic field intensity and gradient on measurement results of core nuclear magnetic resonance T2 spectrum

open access: yesShiyou shiyan dizhi, 2023
Nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) logging instruments generally measure the NMR signal of reservoir fluid in a uniform field with a resonance frequency of 2 MHz or a gradient field with a resonance frequency of less than 1 MHz.

Design and fabrication of Ni/ZrO2 metal-ceramic functionally graded materials by a moving-magnetic-field-driving method

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2021
Ni/ZrO2 metal-ceramic functionally graded materials (FGMs) have been successfully prepared using a moving-magnetic-field-driving method by moving a narrow distributed magnetic field from one end of the mixed slurry to the other end with the moving ...

Electrical Optimization Method Based on a Novel Arrangement of the Magnetic Navigation System with Gradient and Uniform Saddle Coils

open access: yesSensors, 2022
The magnetic navigation system (MNS) with gradient and uniform saddle coils is an effective system for manipulating various medical magnetic robots because of its compact structure and the uniformity of its magnetic field and field gradient.

Compensation of gradient-induced magnetic field perturbations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance, 2008
Pulsed magnetic field gradients are essential for MR imaging and localized spectroscopy applications. However, besides the desired linear field gradients, pulsed currents in a strong external magnetic field also generate unwanted effects like eddy currents, gradient coil vibrations and acoustic noise.

Magnon polarons induced by a magnetic field gradient [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2020
In this work, we report the theoretical possibility of generating magnon polaron excitations through a space-varying magnetic field. The spatial dependence of the magnetic field in the Zeeman interaction gives rise to a magnon-phonon coupling when a magnetic field gradient is applied, and such a coupling depends directly on the strength of the gradient.

Josephson tunnel junctions in a magnetic field gradient [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Physics Letters, 2011
We measured the magnetic field dependence of the critical current of high-quality Nb-based planar Josephson tunnel junctions in the presence of a controllable nonuniform field distribution. We found skewed and slowly changing magnetic diffraction patterns quite dissimilar from the Fraunhofer-like ones typical of a homogeneous field. Our findings can be

ALIGNMENT OF THE SCALAR GRADIENT IN EVOLVING MAGNETIC FIELDS [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2014
We conduct simulations of turbulent mixing in the presence of a magnetic field, grown by the small-scale dynamo. We show that the scalar gradient field, $\nabla C$, which must be large for diffusion to operate, is strongly biased perpendicular to the magnetic field, ${\mathbf B}$.

Improved compensation and measurement of the magnetic gradients in an atomic vapor cell

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2020
Magnetic field gradients reduce the transverse relaxation time of nuclear spins, which usually degrades the sensitivity of atomic sensors based on nuclear spins.
