Robert P. Craig St. Mary's College Orchard Lake, Michigan Immanuel Kant contended that though we may imagine a world without things, as, for example, a room without furniture, it is impossible to imagine a world without time and space. They are the "givens" of our experience.

Journal of Library Administration, 2002
While the need for a plan to evaluate distance library services is clear, the means by which this work should be done is less obvious. Faced with a variety of measurement tools, it can be difficult to decide not only what to evaluate but also how to do it.

Flexibly Graded Monads and Graded Algebras
2022When modelling side-effects using a monad, we need to equip the monad with effectful operations. This can be done by noting that each algebra of the monad carries interpretations of the desired operations. We consider the analogous situation for graded monads, which are a generalization of monads that enable us to track quantitative information about ...

Applicable Algebra in Engineering, Communication and Computing, 2002
The authors impose algebraic structure on cyclic codes. In particular, they consider codes which are graded left \(R\)-modules. They establish properties of graded codes from their homogeneous components and generalize to results about codes as ideals in group algebras. For instance, they study cocyclic codes as ideals in a crossed product.

Does the fact that the regrading of nurses depends on what a nurse was doing on April 1 have the same significance to you as it does to me? Just who [Illegible word] April fool? As a non nurse with several nurse relations, it seems to me that the powers- that-be have wasted time and energy thinking up a high- faluting and senseless way of regrading ...

Brain tumor grading has always been tied to predicting prognosis. Originally, the grading system had four grades, then three-grade systems became popular; now, four grades are in vogue. There is less evidence than might be supposed for the validity of these systems, however.

Summary: Graded ditopological texture spaces have been presented and discussed in categorical aspects by \textit{A. Sostak} and \textit{L. M. Brown} in [Iran. J. Fuzzy Syst. 11, No. 6, 1--20 (2014; Zbl 1419.54007)]. In this paper, the authors generalize the structure of diuniformity in ditopological texture spaces defined in [\textit{S.

Graded semiprime submodules and graded semi-radical of graded submodules in graded modules
Ricerche di Matematica, 2016The authors present several results and concepts on graded semiprime modules including all the necessary definitions. Here is for example Theorem 2.6: ``Let \(R\) be a \(G\)-graded ring, \(M\) a graded \(R\)-module and \(N\) a graded submodule of \(M\).
