This text is a refection on the signifcance of the production of urban demonstrations so-called grafiti or pichações (in Brazil). Graffiti are no invention of the present times. Still, nowadays they have become so popular that they have incited socio-linguistic researches. 833 graffiti collected in the city area and in some nearby places from Trogir to Omiš have been listed and classified according to themes (contents, messages) and language.
