Biomarkers in graft versus host disease after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant [PDF]
Hematopoietic stem cell transplant was developed as a curative therapy to treat onco-hematological diseases and recently indications for this therapy have expanded to include solid tumors, hemoglobinopathies and other genetic diseases and disorders.

CLDN18.2 CAR‐T cell‐derived small extracellular vesicles (CAR‐sEVs) display potent cytotoxicity and prolong survival in preclinical pancreatic cancer models. They contain functional CAR proteins and granzyme B, exhibit antigen specificity, and effectively target tumor cells while sparing healthy cells.

Nuclear factor-κ B inducing kinase is required for graft-versus-host disease
Background Donor T lymphocytes are directly responsible for graft-versus-host disease. Molecules important in T-cell function may, therefore, be appropriate targets for graft-versus-host disease therapy and/or prophylaxis.

Auto-assemblies of Alpha-Cyclodextrin and Grafted Polysaccharides: Crystal Structure and Specific Properties of the Platelets [PDF]
Cyclodextrins (CD) are a family of oligosaccharides with a toroid shape, which exhibit a remarkable ability to include guest molecules in their internal cavity providing a hydrophobic environment for poorly soluble molecules. Recently new types of inclusions of alpha CD with alkyl grafted polysaccharide chains (pullulan, chitosan, dextran, amylopectin,

Beta‐glucans have gained significant attention as an immunomodulatory biomaterial with cell‐targeting capabilities. This review comprehensively outlines the design and fabrication methods for producing beta‐glucan particles at both the micro and nanoscale and their applications in immune cell targeting, immunomodulation, and drug delivery ...

Statistical Inference for Cluster Trees [PDF]
A cluster tree provides a highly-interpretable summary of a density function by representing the hierarchy of its high-density clusters. It is estimated using the empirical tree, which is the cluster tree constructed from a density estimator.

Management of Ocular Graft-Versus-Host Disease: A Brief Review [PDF]
Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) remains a major complication following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). Ocular GVHD develops in a substantial number of patients following HSCT and 60 % to 90 % of patients with systemic GVHD experience the

Designing for Degradation: Transient Devices Enabled by (Nano)Cellulose
Recent progress in transient devices enabled by (nano)cellulosic materials is reviewed. Transiency mechanisms, advantages of nanocelluloses, and a suite of applications are discussed. A circular thinking approach coupled with life cycle assessment is applied to critically revisit the potential, advantages, and challenges of nanocellulose‐enabled ...
