Validación de la prueba de Papanicolaou en el diagnóstico de vaginosis bacteriana. Antioquia, Colombia

open access: yesIatreia, 2002
A descriptive cross sectional study was carry out in 423 women in seven rural communities of the municipality of Amagá, Antioquia. One of the objectives of this study was to evaluate the sensibility and specificity and predictive values of the test of ...

Analysis of black hole solutions in parabolic class using neural networks

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
In this paper, we introduce a numerical method based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) for the analysis of black hole solutions to the Einstein-axion-dilaton system in a high dimensional parabolic class.

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Modeling the complexity of elliptic black hole solution in 4D using Hamiltonian Monte Carlo with stacked neural networks

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
In this paper, we study the black hole solution of self-similar gravitational collapse in the Einstein-axion-dilaton system for the elliptic class in four dimensions. The solution is invariant under space-time dilation, which is combined with internal SL(

Multiple Description Quantization via Gram-Schmidt Orthogonalization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The multiple description (MD) problem has received considerable attention as a model of information transmission over unreliable channels. A general framework for designing efficient multiple description quantization schemes is proposed in this paper. We

Protein O‐glycosylation in the Bacteroidota phylum

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Species of the Bacteroidota phylum exhibit a unique O‐glycosylation system. It modifies noncytoplasmic proteins on a specific amino acid motif with a shared glycan core but a species‐specific outer glycan. A locus of multiple glycosyltransferases responsible for the synthesis of the outer glycan has been identified.

Fecundity of Otolithes ruber (Scneider, 1801) in Khuzestan Coastal Waters

open access: yes‬‭Majallah-i ̒Ilmī-i Shīlāt-i Īrān, 1998
To study on fecundity of O. ruber, in spawning season, 31 samples caught in Khouzestan waters on Feb. 1996 to April 1997 were examined, and gravimetry method was used. Maximum absolute fecundity were 1483369 ± 14409 and 81726± 1831 eggs respectively, and
