Meningitis Caused by Gram-Negative Bacilli

Annals of Internal Medicine, 1980
Thirty adults with meningitis caused by gram-negative bacilli were observed from 1968 to 1978 at four hospitals associated with Boston University School of Medicine. Equal numbers of two distinct types of gram-negative bacillary meningitis--spontaneously occurring meningitis and meningitis after neurosurgery--were found.

[Gram negative bacilli endocarditis ].

Pathologie-biologie, 1982
Gram negative bacilli endocarditis are unfrequent. Nevertheless we encountered 28 cases of them (8.8%) among 320 endocarditis of which 10 were primitive and 7 cases (10.9%) among 65 prosthetic endocarditis. Bacterial species were 12 Pseudomonas aeruginosa, 2 Ps, stutzeri, 1 Ps.
