Tuberculous pericarditis is a common type of pericarditis, but it is difficult to be diagnosed. We report a case of agranulocytosis caused by sulbactam/ampicillin. During antimicrobial therapy, close monitoring of total white blood cell counts is essential. Abstract Idiosyncratic drug‐induced agranulocytosis is a rare but life‐threatening condition that requires immediate medical intervention.
