Respirology, EarlyView.Safety and efficacy of direct 1.1‐mm cryobiopsy specimen retrieval through a 3.0‐mm therapeutic bronchoscope channel were evaluated. The technique achieved 87.5% overall diagnostic yield, produced specimens three times larger than forceps biopsy, and caused Grade 3 bleeding in only 2.1%.
