Comparison of resistance to powdery mildew and downy mildew in Chinese wild grapes
2015This research was performed under natural conditions in an effort to compare resistance within Chinese Vitis germplasm to powdery mildew and downy mildew. MADRAS AGRICULTURAL JOURNAL, 1975In grape leaves of five different colours infected by downy mildew.the contents of total chlorophyll and anthocyanin were reduced.On the other hand.the contents of carotene and xanthophyll increased in infected leaves.An enhanced activity of chlorophyllase was noticed in infected leaves of all ages and grades of infection.
