Integrated multi‐omic profiling maps the gene‐regulatory landscape of the coelomic mesothelium across heart, lung, and pancreas. A cardiac‐restricted regulatory program is uncovered in which TBX20 activates heart mesothelial (epicardial) cis‐regulatory elements, while MAF emerges as a conserved regulator of mesothelial identity.

Pathogenicity of ten Phaeoacremonium species associated with esca and Petri disease of grapevine
Nineteen species of Phaeoacremonium have been associated with grapevines in South Africa, of which only six species have been confirmed as pathogens through pathogenicity tests conducted on field-grown grapevines.

A pro‐inflammatory microglial subset persists after decompression in chronic compressive cervical spinal cord injury and shows enhanced Dnmt3a‐driven m5C signaling. By stabilizing RelA mRNA, this axis sustains NF‐κB activation and postoperative neuroinflammation.

Summary. Esca and Petri disease, two of the most important fungal trunk diseases of grapevine, are responsible for significant losses by causing premature decline and dieback in vineyards worldwide. The Portuguese Dão wine region is no exception.
