Visualizing Interdomain Routing with BGPlay [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper we describe the architecture and the visual interface of BGPlay, an on-line service for the visualization of the behavior and of the instabilities of Internet routing at the autonomous system level.

Automating Lexical Graph Construction with Large Language Models: A Scalable Approach to Japanese Multi-Relation Lexical Networks

open access: yesKnowledge
In recent advancements within natural language processing (NLP), lexical networks play a crucial role in representing semantic relationships between words, enhancing applications from word sense disambiguation to educational tools.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Towards a Maude tool for model checking temporal graph properties

open access: yes, 2011
We present our prototypical tool for the verification of graph transformation systems. The major novelty of our tool is that it provides a model checker for temporal graph properties based on counterpart semantics for quantified m-calculi.

Layered Graphs: Applications and Algorithms [PDF]

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2018
The computation of distances between strings has applications in molecular biology, music theory and pattern recognition. One such measure, called short reversal distance, has applications in evolutionary distance computation. It has been shown that this problem can be reduced to the computation of a maximum independent set on the corresponding graph ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Algorithms for gerrymandering over graphs

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, 2019
We initiate the systematic algorithmic study for gerrymandering over graphs that was recently introduced by Cohen-Zemach, Lewenberg and Rosenschein. Namely, we study a strategic procedure for a political districting designer to draw electoral district boundaries so that a particular target candidate can win in an election.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.
