Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Graph-Theoretic Approach for the Dynamic Simulation of Flexible Multibody Systems
This paper provides a general description of a variational graph-theoretic formulation for simulation of flexible multibody systems (FMSs) which includes a brief review of linear graph principles required to formulate this algorithm.

The Nonlinear Heat Equation on Dense Graphs and Graph Limits [PDF]
We use the combination of ideas and results from the theory of graph limits and nonlinear evolution equations to provide a rigorous mathematical justification for taking continuum limit for certain nonlocally coupled networks and to extend this method to cover many complex networks, for which it has not been applied before.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Graph equations for line graphs, total graphs, middle graphs and quasi-total graphs
Let G be a simple finite and connected graph with the vertex set V(G) and the edge set X(G). Let V'(G) be the family of all one-point subsets of V(G). Both the line graph L(G) of G and the total graph T(G) of G are standard graph theoretical concepts. The middle graph M(G) of G is the intersection graph of \(V'(G)\cup X(G)\) and the quasi-total graph P(

On Pathos Semitotal and Total Block Graph of a Tree [PDF]
The concept of pathos of a graph G was introduced by Harary [2], as a collection of minimum number of line disjoint open paths whose union is G. The path number of a graph G is the number of paths in pathos.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

An Algorithm to Automatically Generate the Combinatorial Orbit Counting Equations.
Graphlets are small subgraphs, usually containing up to five vertices, that can be found in a larger graph. Identification of the graphlets that a vertex in an explored graph touches can provide useful information about the local structure of the graph ...
