ABSTRACT Hydroxyurea (HU) is the most widely prescribed disease‐modifying treatment in sickle cell disease (SCD), though treatment responses vary due to metabolism and adherence. We examined HU blood levels and treatment response in patients with homozygous sickle cell disease (HbSS).

Adaptation of the DFD technology in the modeling of business systems in the environment of RDS
The article is devoted to the description of structural methods of processes modeling, represented by visual languages of business processes modeling of socio-economic systems, designed not only for static functional/information modeling of processes ...

Boundary graph grammars with dynamic edge relabeling [PDF]
Most NLC-like graph grammars generate node-labeled graphs. As one of the exceptions, eNCE graph grammars generate graphs with edge labels as well. We investigate this type of graph grammar and show that the use of edge labels (together with the NCE ...

D‐limonene supplementation enhances testicular recovery following orchiopexy in a rat model of bilateral cryptorchidism. Treatment with D‐limonene reduces oxidative stress (↓MDA, ↑SOD, ↑GPx, ↑TAC), downregulates pro‐apoptotic proteins (↓TNF‐α, ↓BAX, ↓Caspase‐3), and upregulates anti‐apoptotic Bcl‐2 expression.

Beyond the green solvent paradigm, this review redefines Deep Eutectic Systems (DES) as programmable supramolecular nanoassemblies. We survey their biomedical convergence: stabilizing thermolabile mRNA to enable cold chain‐free logistics, reshaping transdermal microneedle delivery, enabling long‐term wearables via eutectogels, and utilizing Generative ...

Objective To investigate the prevalence and longitudinal evolution of anti‐carbamylated fibrinogen antibodies (ACa‐Fib) of IgG and IgA isotypes in early rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and determine whether these antibodies provide additional diagnostic and prognostic information beyond anti‐cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies (anti‐CCP) and rheumatoid ...

Restrictions on NLC graph grammars
An NCL (Node Label Controlled) grammar has productions of the type \(X\to \alpha\) where X is a (nonterminal) label and \(\alpha\) is a graph. The daughter graph can be replaced for a mother node labelled X. Conclusions with the neighborhood of the mother node are established using a connection relation.

Concept Formation Using Graph Grammars [PDF]
Recognizing the expressive power of graph representation and the ability of certain graph grammars to generalize, we attempt to use graph grammar learning for concept formation.

Using meta-modelling and graph grammars to create modelling environments [PDF]
This paper presents the combined use of meta-modelling and graph grammars for the generation of visual modelling tools for simulation formalisms. In meta-modelling, formalisms are described at a meta-level.

Abstract The integrity of scholarly communication depends critically on the accuracy and verifiability of cited references. Citations enable readers to trace prior work, assess evidence, and situate new contributions within the existing literature. However, concerns have emerged regarding the presence of references in published papers that cannot be ...
